Jackalena was used extensively by Shane Turner in feedlot work and joined our broodmare band 3 years ago. She has had 1 colt by Repeat, sold to Robert Coombes to replace Suneye (after the tragedy of his demise). Jackalena had a Repeat filly in 2012 and a Repeat Colt in 2013 - both exceptional types and remaining at Baymak.

Name: Isis Waterbird

Dam: Nabinabah Thornbird
 
Waterbird was a lovely natured and well built bay mare who bred 10 foals for us to date including Baymak Renai, Baymak Reply, Baymak Regain and Baymak Renown. All are draft winners and placegetters.

Name: Nabinabah Chorus Girl

Dam: Nabinabah Fiesta
 
Chorus Girl was an A grade Polo mare and Dam of Baymak Request (mare), Romeo’s Restraint (Stallion) and Baymak Regard (Stallion) now owned by Paul Vary. Chorus girl is a Heritage Stock Horse mare and is also the Grand Dam of Baymak Reliance, a brilliant young mare we have in training now.

Dam: Kincora Marvoney
 
Marg herself was a winner 13 open drafts. Her competition success has lived on through her progeny with her son, Baymak Remark currently campaigning successfully in QLD. Marg was also the Dam of Barragunda Romeos Refine - a Roan mare sold at Dalby for $16,000 and Baymak Rehab sold to Shane Turner.

"Elly" didn’t compete due to injury but her bloodlines, confirmation and nature have proved her to be successful broodmare for Baymak. Elly is the Dam of Baymak Reminisce (Open Mare).

Name: Baymak Rejoice

Sire: Romeo’s Repeat
Dam: Isis Nightbird 
 
Rejoice was restrained from competition due to eye injury. Being a full sister to Baymak Reanna, she entered Baymak’s broodmare band and is proving to be our best broodmare to date. She has had two geldings to Coombes Suneye, one of which was sold to Bruce Birney as a 2-yr. old and one filly to Kirkbys Stud Echo.

Thornbird bred 11 foals including Baymak Regime sold at Dalby to Bruce McNaughton; Baymak Response, Draft winner, and dam of Baymak Delight and Baymak Remona sold for $16,500.

"Pandora" was beautiful brown mare who is the dam of Baymak Reanna, one of Baymak’s most successful competition mares and Baymak Rejoice and Baymak Respect, two of Baymak’s top broodmares.

Hazelwood Quest

Dam: Bar None Request
 
Quest is a Novice Draft winner. She is a Heritage Stock Horse mare and her first colt was sold to North QLD and her first filly sold to the Hunter Valley. Quest currently has a Repeat filly at foot which will enter Baymak’s own competition ranks.

Name: Baymak Renai

Renai is a very good campdraft mare and is proving to be a very valuable broodmare. She has bred a Taylor Made filly now owned by Shane Turner and we have a Kniepps Conray filly out of her ready to break in. Renai is currently back in foal to Shane Turner's G-Man (Conman).

Name: Baymak Respect
Sire: Romeo’s Repeat
Dam: Isis Nightbird 
 
Respect was used for station and feedlot work before accidently joining our broodmare band. After seeing that accident grow into a top quality foal, Respect has remained in the broodmare band putting her performance career on hold. She has bred 2 fillies, one exceptional filly by Coombes Sun Eye and one colt by Rodney McKinnon’s “Sunrise.” In fact, Rodney was so impressed with her Sunrise colt has borrowed the mare off us and she is presently back in foal to Sunrise for Rodney.
